i don't have words for something that i've always known to be true. something so fundamental and instinctual that it guides all thought and sense of being, every decision and motivation. defies any sense of definition and is an understood truth all the same. something between choice and agency and possibility, something that makes spite and even death preferred outcomes in any scenario as long as they were freely chosen. i don't have words for this but that is my soul.
