i've got this book "you are here" (by thich nhat hanh) about mindfulness that i've been meaning to read this month, which i am going to read this weekend. it's a very short book but i'm hoping it will give me some good insights to understanding how other people experience "the present". most of what i know of this topic seems to use nebulous and vague language that doesn't help me understand the practice, especially when i seem more consciously aware of my surroundings than many people.
